Sales and acquisition
Aircraft transactions, handled end to end
Four decades of completed transactions — airliners, business jets and helicopters — from search and inspection through to registration and permit.
Selected transactions

The record is specific rather than general. In 2012 we handled the sale of three MDLR Airlines aircraft. In 2013 we advised on two Airbus H155 helicopter transactions and sold the Kingfisher Airlines BBJ. In 2016 we acquired an Airbus A320 from Air India. In 2021 we purchased a Dassault Falcon 2000 and a Bombardier Challenger 300.
Certification work sits alongside the transactions, because most buyers eventually need the aircraft on a permit. We took Viman Airways through its NSOP with a Hawker 850 in 2023, and provided end-to-end consultancy to Shaurya Airlines in 2015. Buying the aircraft is the shorter half of the job; putting it into lawful service is the longer one.
Several mandates are confidential and are not listed.
Sales and acquisition

NSOP applications and type additions taken through the authority, start to finish.

Where this support helps
Where four decades shows
- A first acquisition, where the risk is what you do not know to ask.
- A disposal that needs the market approached quietly.
- A fleet transaction with more than one airframe in it.
- A new operator taking an aircraft onto its own permit.
A clear, coordinated process
How it works
Define the mission
Sectors, payload and hours flown. The mission chooses the aircraft, not the other way round.
Search and shortlist
Candidates found, priced and ranked, with records reviewed before you travel to see one.
Inspect and negotiate
Pre-purchase inspection, technical findings priced in, and terms agreed on that basis.
Register and operate
Import, registration, permit and the paperwork that puts the aircraft into service.
Safety & operational support
Assured on every flight
Both sides of the desk
We have bought and sold, so we know what the other side is looking at in your file.
Technical people in-house
The team that supports maintenance and spares reviews the records on a purchase.
Confidential by default
Mandates are not announced. Several of ours have never been published anywhere.

Discuss a transaction
Whether you are buying a first aircraft or disposing of a fleet, the first conversation costs nothing and usually saves a great deal later on.
