About

42 years in Indian aviation

Choudhary Aviation Facilities has worked in Indian aviation since 1984 — first in technical and support services, later in aircraft transactions and regulatory work, and now as a permit-holding charter operator. The private client side of the business is the newest part of a long-established house.

Choudhary Aviation Facilities — aviation operations in New Delhi

Who we are

Most of what this company has done over four decades has been invisible to passengers. Sourcing components with traceable paperwork. Moving an aircraft between registries. Taking an airline through the permit process. Supplying licensed engineers to a maintenance organisation. It is unglamorous work, and it is the reason the charter side of the business behaves the way it does.

We hold a DGCA Non-Scheduled Operator Permit and operate a Cessna Citation CJ II, VT-MON, from New Delhi. Where a journey needs an aircraft we do not have, we arrange it from operators we have worked with and tell you plainly who is flying you and under whose permit.

The company is based at Mehram Nagar, Delhi Cantonment — a few minutes from the general aviation terminal at Indira Gandhi International. That proximity is practical rather than symbolic. It is where the aircraft is.

On the record

Work we can evidence

The years between 1984 and 2011 are real but not itemised here. We would rather publish eleven entries we can document than forty we cannot.

What we stand for

Three things we do not negotiate

0101

Discretion

We do not publish client names without permission, we do not write case studies about private movements, and we do not confirm or deny who has flown with us. This applies to everyone equally.

0202

Consistency

A government department and a family going to a wedding get the same briefing, the same crew standard and the same maintenance record. There is no second tier of service to fall back on.

0303

Accountability

If the weather closes a sector we say so rather than launching and turning back. If a part has no paper trail we do not fit it. Saying no is part of the service you are paying for.

Who we have flown

Institutions, not endorsements

Government departments and public undertakings have chartered aircraft through CAF. We name them because the work is a matter of record — not as an endorsement, which we have not sought and would not publish.
